Thank you for your devotion "Misunderstood" from Proverbs 31. The Holy Spirit has been faithful to give me instructions this week about how to honor and respect my man. Your post was His latest.
Thank you for the timely word on Giving. Today my husband and I made a donation to a well known ministry, and I wondered whether it was of God or we were giving just because of our need for steady jobs, or because we need a house. I am guilty of giving to the Lord and expecting things in return, instead of a closer walk with Him. Thank you again!!
Wow! God is awesome. I was searching for something this morning in my favorites and came across your blog that states shopaholic which caught my attention. It's like God knew exactly what I needed to read on your website today. I happened to click on speaking topics and read that web page. Then I went to the Bible and read Proverbs 31. That was actually our reading at mass this past Sunday at church. Again, WOW! And I actually get the meaning of the Proverbs 31 ministry team now. My friend subscribes to the daily devotions so I subscribed so I wouldn't have to wait for her to send them to me and now I am forwarding them to my whole ACTS community (stands for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service)and my church community and my other friends. I would love to see you in person. However, I see that you will not be in Louisiana anytime soon but I will keep checking. Thanks for all that you do for the Lord. You are truly a blessing.
Hi Wendy,
I am the MOPS Minstry Assistant at our church and I came across your Spirit inspired challenge to read the Bible in 2009. We have decided to purchase 23 of these Bibles for our leadership team and walk thru the Word with you in the New Year. Thank you for listening and being obedient to Him; you have and will continue to bless many via this great journey together!
In Him,
Laura

Good Morning,
Thank you for the devotion "Camping too Close to Sin". What a real message.Sometime we have to be real about our life. Sin is sin no matter how we size it up.
Sheila
Thank you for your devotion "Time is in His Hands". I have been struggling with feeling overwhelmed and a bit of a failure because I cannot seem to get everything in my day complete. I have felt compelled for weeks to rise early but have not felt I could do it. Your devotion this morning was God's message to me that I cannot do it on my power but HE CAN provide the ability for me to get up early and start my day with Him. Thank you for sharing so open heartedly.
Wendy,
I loved the post today. I have been struggling with this now for awhile. My husband and I adopted a baby girl back in October. She is not 7 months old. My job keeps me away from the home for 12-13 hours a day. I just feel like I don't have time anymore. I am sinking like a ship because I don't have quite time much anymore except on my drive to work, and I don't like that because I love Daddy, and I know and want to be in His presence as much as I can. He is the reason we have Olivia. He knew the desires of my heart. If I don't make more time for Him, then how can I expect Him to continue to honor me with the blessing he has.
Anyway, your devotional today surely helped me so much. Daddy knows just when to bring things into our sight or ears just when we need it. I love our Daddy, and I thank Him for using you. You are a blessing.
Praying for you and your ministry.
Tina Marie
Wendy, the devotion today, "Getting Ready for Tomorrow" could not have been more perfect for myself or any of the 100s of other teachers who get the P31 daily devotions and start back to school. Considering our role in God's story is such a wonderful perspective for this new year. While the time home with my son was precious and richly blessed, I know God wants my in my classroom ready to be a vessel for His love. Thank you for helping me find the right perspective for "getting ready for tomorrow."
