The Eagle Has Landed
That is code for: on the ground again.

Praise the Lord! Thank you for all who prayed for me. The flight to Indy was less than peaceful. I flew into turbulent winds. I was so frightened, I closed my eyes tight, gripped my hands tight, and prayed. Apparently I was quite a sight because the man beside tapped my arm and asked, "Are you ok?" Even after we made it safely to the ground, my face must have been ghost white. This man took me under his wing. He made sure I knew how to find baggage claim and had a ride. I can't imagine what you girls prayed away from me! I am so glad I asked for prayer. It works!

The weekend was amazing! God has business to do and He did it. He is so good at His job! On the way back to the airport (which was in a different time zone than the one I spoke ~ I do hope there are no time zones in heaven) me and the girls had a "high-five" time talking about God moments. I always ask the Lord to change just one life (more if He sees fit) but at least one. I know of one and I got a bonus person. I won't share the details but God opened the door for healing in a very hurtful situation. Thank you Lord! You are the GREAT HEALER!

The women at First Christian Church showed great hospitality. (Very southern) Thank you for having me. I look forward to hearing about the knots He unties in your lives. Leave me comments about how you are enjoying i am not.

Much love from this little i.

P.S. If you want to know more about i am not follow the link. It is an incredible book. The best I have ever read, next my most favorite book ever, of course you know which book that is..His Book. If you order the book, in the note section of the order form include that you placed the order through my blog and I will make sure you get a free surprise!

Wendy:
Here's praying that God gives you glimpses of the "fruit" that issues forth from your seed-planting mission this weekend. There's nothing...absolutely nothing like knowing that you have walked in obedience to fulfill your role in his Great Commission. And while we will not always "see" the harvest come to full bloom, every now and then, God allows us a taste to spur us on in our journey toward him.

Continue on, my friend, being salt and light to a world that needs to taste and to see.

You are an awesome servant of the most high God, and He worked mightily through you!

I'm still hearing the women speak of how they experienced God this weekend...

Love you Friend.

I thoroughly enjoyed "i am not, but I know I AM"! I too am happy to be on God's journey through life and to have a supporting role in the greatest story ever told. Our God ROCKS, like totally!

Wendy - my own life feels changed after this weekend. I have new focus and direction, and can't wait to see where it leads. As far as the God moments are concerned - I think many of the ladies had some God moments. Lives were certainly changed, and we may never know this side of Glory, just how much!! But what a fun story to watch as it unfolds and as God works in the lives of so many when we pull together for his Glory!

Girl, I wouldn't trade Saturday for anything. And I was so blessed to spend "down time" with you and Paula on the road. What a blessing--look at the fruit already from that! You are dearly loved here!

I atttended the seminar at FCC and thought it was an amazing time of learning more about my Jesus and worshiping Him through the wonderful Praise Band! (I'm a little partial towards them!) I've used several of the quotes you used to encourage a friend that couldn't make it as she had plans to attend the Agapefest. Her fire was lit there and when the two of us get together and talk about our next steps for obedience; hers overcoming shyness and finding her voice, mine; just tuning in and filtering out all other voices, I am reminded that He doesn't "call the qualified, He qualifies the called"! He will give her the right words to say. And my favorite: Being such a wellspring that when you bump into someone say, 'Excuse me, did I spill a little Jesus on you?' Being totally immersed in The Word that you are overflowing with Him! There may have been lives changed on that day, but I know there are more changing every day that passes. Thank you for your personal sacrifice (air travel) to bring us His message through you!
