I am laughing out loud as reread the title of this post. I am a terrible speller, always have been. I feel pretty sure no one in the world was happier to have the invention of spell checker than me. Back to the point, I am a terrible speller and I spelled influential wrong in the title. I knew I did so I came down here in the posting area and typed it again so that spell checker could show me the correct way to spell the word. I am laughing because one of the influential people in my life, Christie, has always busted on me because I can't spell but someone how God called me to write. Lysa, another friend, always says, "God does not called the qualified. He qualifies the called." He called me, then came spell checker. Yea God!
I have another Kristi in my life who taught me the importance of having a daily quiet time with the Lord. I am excited to say that she has joined the blogging world. If you get a chance, jump over to A Matter of Grace. You will be blessed!
You can read about my circle of friends in the April issue of the P31 Woman.
Tell me about the influential people in your life. I would love to hear about them.
For His Renown
I thank God so much for the influential people in my life. God has blessed me with so many. Christie, who I mentioned above has been in my life since we were in the cradle roll class together 40 years ago. I love her so!

My parents--for doing the hard thing called marriage all these years. They are my heroes!
My children--they force me to be a better human being.
My husband--for choosing me as his bride and showing me God's path of redemption.
Wise old women (a.k.a. the Tuesday lunch bunch)--for taking me under their wings and keeping my nonsensical rants to a minimum. They teach me the most about loving and living beneath the shadow of the cross.
peace~elaine
