Wednesday July 1
Welcome to all who are stopping by from Encouragement for Today, the daily online devotion from Proverbs 31 Ministries. I am on brief sabbatical from my blog this week, vacationing with my family. Currently me and over 300 other people are reading through the One Year Chronological Bible. It is not too late for you to join us.

While I am away, my friend Joy is the guest writer for our daily readings. I invite you to hop over to Ponderings in His Presence for a special blessing.

I am sharing photos of my family's Father's Day celebration. I would not be a mother without my children's amazing father Scott. He is the man of my dreams! We have been married for almost 18 years.

To whomever wrote today's Prov 31 devotional,

Thank you for sharing the message for today. I can't begin to tell you just how much it spoke to my heart. My mother called just the other day with that same word of knowledge so, it spoken to me through the Spirit of God twice in one week is not only a confirmation, but it elevates my spirit in a very difficult situation. Bless you....

Great devotional today Wendy! I'm living in the season of "but God" and KNOW He is able to do immeasureably more than I can ask or imagine.

Holding on to hope,
Joy

i can't even tell you how many times I have circled that little phrase, "But God", in my Bible! This phrase always seems to follow bad news and dire circumstances, only to give us hope anew and confidence that God is still here and that He is still working and intervening on our behalf. Thank you for this timely reminder!

It is so true...after a landmine...a landmark.

After the rain, the rainbow.

God's covenant is constant...be patient in trouble and keep praying! (Romans 12:12)

So enjoying the father's day photos...bless you Wendy!
