My oh my, did you just love the Lord's comeback to Job. I just had to post these verses:

I feel like Job sometimes, humbled, and so thankful I have a God who is indescribable. He sees the depths of my heart and loves me the same.

I just want to say how grateful I am for this study. Thank you Wendy for taking the time to do this. You don't realize how you touch countless lives by doing this. This study has brought me back into fellowship with God.
In May of 2007 my brother was killed in a tragic accident. He was living his life completely for God. So I was angry that God would allow him to be taken from this earth. Although I know that my brother is in heaven I still long to have him back on this earth. SO over the last few years I have slowly drifted further and further away from God. But through this study I am finding my way back to Him. I know he has always been there but it was me that was deciding to distance myself.
This is the first time I have a commented. I guess I felt like what I had gotten from the reading didn't compare to the wonderful insights that so many women have shared.
With all that said, in yesterday's reading in Job 38:8-11 when God was referring to how he had set the boundaries for the sea and had commanded it to go no further. The sea is so vast and powerful...but God is much more powerful and always in control.
I don't want to be in control. Life is so much easier when we give up that control and let God work in our lives.

Oh my goodness what a way to wrap up our study of Job this weekend, Wendy. Thank you so much for the video. Last night's Wolf Moon right over our heads was another amazing show of God's mighty power of creation.
Old/New - God's creation always strikes me anew with its glory and magnificence. I'm thankful I live where I am surrounded by nature, my ever present reminder of God's power
New -- God using sarcasm (Job 38:21) "But of course you know all this! For you were born before it was all created, and you are so very experienced."
Take away: The rest of nature follows God's rules, why can't mankind do the same? Fear the Lord; live by His word.
Wendy and ladies, each day that we get deeper into our study of God's word and our sharing of insights, feelings, truths and prayer needs, I am more and more grateful that God led me to participate in this wonderful ministry.

Wow, that video is amazing!! I love that song but when you listen to it with pictures of creation it is even more amazing! I had to lift my hands listening to that this morning :)
God drew my attention to the same verse as you Shelia, Job 38:36. God gives us intuition of the heart and instinct to our minds. I wrote in my journal how it is so important to be submitted to Him daily so He can do this through daily filling of the Holy Spirit to help us walk in victory and with the mind of the Spirit. Jeremiah 17:9 says that our hearts are deceitful above all things but if we are submitted to the Holy Spirit God is leading our hearts and minds. I pray often Psalm 37:4 that I will delight myself in the Lord and that the desires of my heart will be the desires of His heart.
Brandee, I have never seen another Brandee with their name spelled like mine :) When I first logged on I was confused because I knew I had not posted yet, lol. I will pray that God will continue to draw you back to Him. We are blessed to have you in our study. I have learned through all my pain of my past that it is in the healing of the pain that God shows Himself to be faithful and He will turn all ashes into beauty if we give it over to Him (Isaiah 61:3).

What a wonderful video and a great song to start the weekend. I have heard that song many times but never related it to this lesson. I absolutely loved Job 38 - 42. I just wanted to keep reading and reading. His words are so awesome and great! I had never read Job before and to hear how God described the earth, nature, everything He made was very humbleing. Somethinth that I never heard before was the storehouses of snow and hail, then I even heard that in the song.
I am so thankful for everyone in this study and especially for you Wendy for leading us. You inspire me everyday and make me laugh when days are not so good!!

Boy how awesome the video was! I got tears as I was reminded about how awesome and great our God is!! The reading today was great too. I am sitting here looking at ice not snow. Wendy bet you are looking at snow amidst our winter storm for the week-end! I have read Job before and our pastor did sermons last year of Job but my eyes were not opened like they have been these past weeks. Today my old was Job 38:2 Who is this that questions my wisdom with such ignorant words? How often have I questioned God's wisdom? I think I know how to handle things - Duh?! My new was Job 38:1 The Lord answered Job from a whirlwind! Not in but from -When I think of a whirlwind I think of a tornado and how mighty and powerful and destructive they are! Then I am reminded how mighty and powerful our God is - more mighty and powerful than a tornado and He is not destructive but does chastise us when we do wrong. My something to do covers Job 38:36-37 1)When in doubt follow God's leading and listen to my heart and mind and know that God is in control and knows what is best for me and Job 40:1-2 2) Do not argue with God - He has all the answers not me! What an uplifting read this morning! God is AMAZING! I noticed the repetitive "Who created, Who makes, Who sends, etc...over and over. It's WHO people! No big bang....Someone did it all and sing His praises we know Who!

In Job 38:31-33 God talks about the stars and universe. I remember not wanting to talk about such things cuz I had been told astrology is not of God....but I've learned that God tells us alot in the stars...He created them for heaven's sake! I just need to keep the focus and trust and truth on God; not on astrological stuff.
Nugget: I loved Job's humility and many times I need to cover my mouth and say nothing more.

What a week in the Word it has been! This morning I finished up Job, what a book! In the end, Job still did not understand all of the “whys,” but he still did not question what God did. What do I want to take away from my journey through the pages of Job? Day by day, I want my faith to grow more and more so that I do not spend wasted minutes trying to seek answers to life’s problems, but to simply trust in my Father. God never did tell Job that Satan was the source of all his suffering. We see in chapters 38-40 God’s greatness. His power. His majesty. He will show His very best to all who trust in Him. We can trust in God regardless of our circumstances. I want that faith to trust in God even when I don’t understand why something is happening. God’s wisdom is unimaginable. I’m unfit to even think I could understand. “I am nothing-how could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand. I have said too much already,” (Job 4,5). Truly I want to leave everything in His hands. God’s Word promises that He will never leave us.
Thank you dear Father for your precious Word. Thank you for Wendy, and for each sister that poured out wisdom each day. What an encouraging group of believer’s you have blessed me with! Thank you for bringing new people to our blog. Fill us with You today. Draw each of us even closer to you as we seek to know you more and more. God, YOU are indescribable; I love you with all of my heart! Amen.

What an awesome video! Thanks Wendy for sharing it with us. This week began with me at the beach during a rain/wind storm. As I watched the angry ocean waves, it reminded me of our Creator, who set the boundries of the sea! Then when the storm was gone the peacefulness of the ocean as the sun was shining and reflecting on the sea. Arriving home on Thursday with the winter storm warnings for snow/ice for this weekend and sure enough I have a beautiful view of snow from God's storehouse!
The scripture for today caused me to ask myself, "What do I know?"
God is awesome! The Creator of everything. God is in complete control and He but speaks and the elements respond.
I, like Job, am nothing. I don't have answers to His questions. Believe that HE IS the Great I AM!
Not having a computer while away, meant that I had to catch-up on the video and comments and how they have blessed me. I thank God for each of you and relish each comment.

I’m back again dear friends! There has been something I’ve wanted to share with you all since Wendy spoke about, the special Elihu’s in our life. After listening to her teaching I was drawn to one of my face-to-face friends. A dear Godly women whom I’ve been blessed to share my life with. I talked about her that day on the blog. But, since then, another special and dear friend that God has placed in my life is someone I also want to share with you today. It all happened through this blog-I’ve said this before; but, I know God has drawn each one of here for a reason. Many, many months ago, a special sister on this blog emailed me, and asked me some advice. Quite honestly, I laughed out loud, thinking, me of all people. What do I know? Well, through this first contact the most amazing, prayer-friendship developed. Sweet, Godly,young, peppy, high-spirited, beautiful… BRANDEE… from TN… has been an absolute gift from God. Daily we turn each other to God's truth. Our emails are full of thanks and praises to the Father we share. I was at the time diligently studying God’s Word, daily. Also, my prayer-time was growing deeper and deeper. God was showing me that when I read his Word, it was His spoken Word to me. But, I was also learning through him, that as I prayed, he spoke wisdom to my heart. Brandee and I began the most amazing day-to-day friendship that only God could plan and orchestrate. It was my first experience to pray over a specific person/family, (some one not in my family) on a day-to-day basis over an extended length of time. I am telling you this, because through this prayer-friend, God blew me away. He continues to show me his closeness through praying for Brandee. He places items on my heart that I would never know if I were not praying to him. Many times as I’m praying over Brandee, he will show me something in my own life. Through Brandee, and interceding in prayer for her, God has blessed me. I’ve have come to know him at such a more intimate level. God, daily through my prayer time, continues to increase my faith. More and more, I understand the meaning of the words of what Jesus said, “Men ought always to pray, and not to faint (give up)-Luke 18:1 and, to “pray without ceasing, (I Thes. 5:17). So, during this open blog time, I so want to thank sweet Brandee for the prayers she has lifted up in my behalf, and to let all of you know that we will never enjoy God’s BEST blessings until we establish and practice a plan for daily Bible reading AND prayer time. I liked the contrast between two verses in today's reading. In Job 38:36 God says, "Who gives intuition to the heart and instinct to the mind?" Sometimes He speaks in a whisper, and sometimes just through the gentle promptings of our spirit. But at other times, "... the Lord answered Job from the whirlwind" (Job 38:1); sometimes you can't miss it. Sometimes He shows off His power and might and reminds us of Who he is in a very real, physical way. I think it's pretty neat that we're reading this particular passage while so many of us Eastern USA-ers are snowed in and experiencing his winter wonder!

I struggle with wanting to be in control, being god in my situations. These verses in Job for today and Sunday really spoke to me.
Job 40:3-5 Noni said to the Lord, "I am nothing, how could I ever find the answers to all these things I face. I will cover my mouth with my hand cause I have already said too much." Job 42:2 "I, Noni, know that you, God, can do anything."

Prayer Request: My son called Thursday from Basic Training. A young man in a group ahead of him in the training process committed suicide by shooting himself in the head.(My son did not know him nor was he a witness to this event. Just heard about it) Please be praying for this young man's family, the drill sergeant, and the young men who were in his training unit.

As I read this morning, my mind conjured up so many pictures to the words God painted as He spoke. It reminded me that without God's staying hand, all that we know would be lost forever. It also reminded me that one day, this earth will pass away, but man! what we will get to see then... I cannot comprehend it!

Morgen ~ your comment (and Wendy's video) about the stars & astrology made me think, too. When I became a Christian I avoided astrology as well. But later learned that God did give us signs in the sky (Ps 19: - can't remember the verse). It was the enemy who perverted the study of the stars to what is now astrology.
Has anyone ever seen the video "The Star of Bethlehem" by Frederick Larson? I watched it again this morning after being inspired by our reading today. I was yet blown away again. He is a Christian who was asked by his church to teach the Essentials class for new believers. He decided to look for external evidence that the bible is real which led him to do research on the star of bethlehem. And it just snowballed from there. He cited the passages in Job 9:9 and today's Job 38:31-32. It goes fr the birth & he also shows what happened in the skies during the crucufixion of Christ on April 3, 33 AD. I was in tears after watching it. You can check it out at www.bethlehemstar.net or amazon (I saw it for $7 used).
It all tied in to what we read today. Wasn't it a lot like watching the Discovery Channel up close and personal? God is amazing. I thought about the birds who migrate to the south. They iinstinctively know where to go back. How do they know, they've never been there! And out solar system, not only the vastness of it and how small we really are but also how it is mathematically precise! That is how someone was able to do a computer program based on Kepler's formula and now we can look at the skies in the time of Christ's birth & see what the shepherds saw, and what led the Magi to Bethlehem. How awesome is that?
The other that stood out to me was 38:1 where it said God spoke fr the whirlwind. Wendy you have inspired me to look at Strong's so I did a search for whirlwind. It said "tempest" or "storm". God spoke to Job from the storm. God speaks to us from our storms too, doesn't He?

Wendy- Job 40:4 stood out to me as Job's first words were "I am nothing." Just earlier this week I said to the Lord the same thing. I am nothing. And yet, in His magnificent glory and power, He takes my heap of clay and molds me into something.
But back to Job, God speaking and going through all that he made and explaining to Job "were you there? did you create? etc." And finally Job finishes by saying "I take everything I said back..." He humbled down before God. "I'm nothing and I give everything back."
I too feel like Job. As a matter of fact I have felt alot like him over the past two weeks as I feel God testing me faith. Course I my circumstances are different than Jobs, but reading about him this past week has really helped me. Sometimes God has got to humble me down and I am so thankful for the time He takes out to speak to me. I have learned so much this week.
I have had to do a lot of catch up time this week b/c I felt the Lord taking me to a couple different places in His Word. But I am so thankful for that catch up time and all that I have learned. Thanks again, Wendy for doing this study. You just won't believe how much it all has meant to me. It's been a blessing, an encouragement, and I feel that I am growing in the the Lord and in His Word. Isn't it wonderful that we can be called this title even though there are so many times when we feel unworthy~worth nothing~ as Job felt? It is amazing that "HE sees the depths of my heart and loves me the same." "Oh, how I love, Jesus...because He first loved me."
I have never felt so much excitement about God's Word and the understanding He gives me each day...Thank you, God, for Wendy, her ministry, and for the new friends I have come to know IN YOU~the best friendship of all.
I think it is ironic and amazing that, in some way this week, most of our U.S. has been affected by God's creation of weather, one form or another, and we, ladies, have been so blessed to learn about His Power and Control in all of it. What a blessing from the study of Job in God's Word. I suppose that if anyone can make a sarcastic remark about people questioning Him, God can, and I expect that He'd give those who think that "Mother Nature" is in charge or question "Why or Why not?" about the weather need to study what we have just studied and trust that God knows what we need and when we need it. His creation is "indescribable" and not to be questioned.
Never, in my life, have I believed that I would learn so much and be so excited. I want all of my friends to take part in this feeling by taking part in this study, but they just listen and don't commit. ;(

Grace and Peace: I too watched "The Star of Bethlehem" video and that is when my head and my heart turned around and I realized just how much information God has placed in the stars for us. I realized that looking at it that way - thru God's creation - that I wasn't worshipping in a wrong way or anything like that. It is a wonderful video and I recommend it highly. You will be amazed!

WOW!! I have never been so excited tbeo read the Bible and be part of a study! The video was soooooo exciting to watch--I have loved that song and loved how it related to our story today. I had highlighted the "storehouses of snow and hail" verses, and then it was right there in the song.
I used to do a prayer journal that included four sentences each day--PART--Praise, Admit, Request and Thanks. The praise part was the hardest, but this reading made it very easy to do the praising.
My new thing was the sarcasm of God--loved the humor! Laughed out loud.
I love all of your comments on the weather--we are facing yet another snowfall here in Iowa--but we are prepared!
As for my past comment about my daughter and asking about Haitians remaining faith--I saw a story on the news that showed a newly-rescued man and the first thing he wanted to do was find a church and give thanks to God. Fabulous!

Good Sunday morning Ladies. I am sure that many of you are looking at the same wonder I am - more than a foot of snow outside... What a great physical reminder of God's power and beauty. I am new to commenting, but have enjoyed reading and learning from all of your comments over the past month. What struck me as new today was that God is the originator of sarcasm - that made me laugh! Nothing was old as I've never studied Job before, but the nugget that I took away was in Job's quick response to God in saying that he was NOTHING. How often do I, when involved in a disagreement, jump through hoops to prove "my side" of the story. I can't imagine actually seeing God face to face as Job did, but truly - how WOULD I react? I'm sure with the utmost fear and trembling, but sometimes, as I'm home on the couch studying the word, I can find myself justifying un-Godly behavior. Shocking, I know! I am so thankful for this study and for you, Wendy. I've been enjoying getting to know little nuggets about the women who are responding on this blog. And why are my girls up today at 5:30 and 6:30 a.m.??? Have a great day today - we plan lots of worship today from the sleds!

Today's passages left me absolutely fascinated! This morning, I was reading the scripture passages aloud to my husband. We rarely have this time, but it gave us room to discuss the scripture together.
The first thing we pondered (Old but new thing) was actually how great God blessed Job. As a farmer, my husband picked up on how much would be required to take care of 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 oxen and 1,000 female donkeys. The amount of land required to feed them and the number of men required to help care for them. His blessing was huge...and to live to see four generations of his. WOW!
We also discussed the Leviathan and wanted to do more study on this creature. There are some fascinating video's at Youtube. One in particular is about a father and his son doing research on the Bible from Google Earth and the discovery of a skeleton they believe to be a Leviathan! I encourage you to check this out at

Good morning all-
This is my first time posting, but have been with you all since Januray 1st. I've tried before to read thru the bible in a year...but never saw it thru. Wendy, when I read your Proverbs 31 daily devotion about this on-line study, I saved the email and felt God nudging me to join in. I am so glad I did! I can't wait to get up in the morning, to read our daily passage and to see what you and others have posted. I am hearing God's voice thru his Word, Wendy's postings and thru each of you. Wendy, your posting on Isaiah 43:18 spoke to me - God is definitely doing a new thing for my family... we might not be able to perceive it clearly today, but we have to believe it. :)
This is my first time reading Job and I have learned so much. God opened the storehouses of snow for many of us this weekend - we've got about 8" of snow on the ground! It's beautiful and not something we see very often in Greensboro, NC.
Our God is amazing and indescribable... one of the many nuggets from this weekend's reading is Job 40:4-5 - there are many times when I have said too much and need to be quiet. If I will listen and obey (not talk), then God will bless me with prosperity (Job 36:11).

How wonderful that we have had so many first-time commenters this weekend! Welcome to you all. Leslie, I came to this study exactly the way you did. I definitely felt God calling me to do it, and I can hear him more clearly now that I am keeping close to his word. I, too had some problems keeping my mouth quiet this week, but I caught and correctly myself quickly, which I definitely attribute to being closer to God. He is definitely helping me.

I can honestly say I didn't know what to expect when I decided to go on this journey and doing a study through a blog. I have participated in many studies but have never experienced God's word like I have in this one. Praise God to each of you for your comments, websites, and prayer requests.
It is evident to me that interecessory prayer is very valuable in God's eyes and I am so thankful to you Wendy and Brandee for organizing these requests into one spot!
Today I was intrigued by the two creatures/beasts presented in today's reading: Behemoth and Leviathan. I will look at the youtube video and would appreciate any other insight.
Nugget:
God is all powerful - he created everything and only he can threaten it. Never underestimate His power. Be careful how we represent God to others. Lastly, having a faithful servant intercede in prayer on our behalf can be powerful! Thank you for praying for me and my family!

I have never studied and learned from the book of Job like I have this past 2 weeks. It has been incredible.
My nugget comes with the help of the Zondervan handbook to the bible. "As Job looks at God and worships, he sees himself and his problem in perspective. Self-righteousness melts away."

I can't believe that I'm commenting before nightfall.;) We have gobs of snow and no church today; the roads are horrible over most of the Triad of NC. I am loving my time with the Lord, though. ;)
My old: I knew that God blessed Job in the end, but I never understood how special that blessing would be after all the pain and suffering on Job's part.
My new: Like Lutiemom, Nancy, and Meredith, I was intrigued by the hook thing with the creatures, so I read more in my Bible about the hook~2Kings 19:28, 2 Chron.33:11,Ez.19:9,29:4,38:4, Is.19:8, and my favorite Amos4:2--> God tells Israelites that the time will come when they will be taken away with hooks, the last of them with fishhooks.
Kate, I loved that you said that God is the originator of sarcasm. I wondered where I got mine from.;)
L.mom, Nancy, how I long to be able to read scripture with my husband AND my grown children. You've encouraged me just to do it even though it's not really what he chooses to do in his spare time.I know that it is so difficult for you gals that have an unsaved husband~been there;however, it is also so difficult to watch your spouse not want to really grow in the Lord. So,ladies, do I start a new list of names??? His name is Braxton.
My life lesson or nugget. Job 42:12...I am truly being blessed in these older years of my life ( a young 60 in March ) only because my personal relationship with Jesus Christ is growing and becoming stronger and more meaningful than anything else. This study has changed my life!!! Halleluia!!!!

I am a new Christian and although I spent most of my childhood and adulthood in and out of the Catholic faith this is all new to me. What a great journey this is going to be this year. Jeanne - my hubby is a believer but doesn't pursue a love relationship with God. I added him to the prayers list....all of our prayers are gonna light some fire under the butts of these spouses! AMEN!
Today's reading mentions the Behemoth and the Leviathan. I do believe we're talking about dinosaurs here ladies. The description in one place even made me think of a dragon - breathing fire - are dragons a myth or were they real? I wonder if during Noah's flood they all drowned? Don't know, just letting my mind play a bit.
I loved ending Job with God's greatness (beyond all words) and Job's humility. This is what life is all about. We need to humble ourselves everyday before our King and do as He commands, trusting in His all-knowing ways. Surrender to His authority. May God grant us His help in doing so. AMEN.

Morgen, I too pictured the dinosaur & a dragon in those descriptions.
Mary Ann - I am also a product of a Catholic upbringing. I didn't know I was missing something all those years. So glad that our God does not stop pursuing us.
I loved all the comments. The reading today was such a perfect ending to all the confusing dialogue in between. Here are my takeaways. Gotta make it short or I'll burn our dinner tonight - chicken katsu:)
* God reprimanded the 3 friend who were very harsh but not Elihu. (Or maybe God didn't see him either. ;) jk)
*Job was asked to intercede for them (reminded me of Jesus saying bless those who curse you and pray for those who use you.)
*God's blessing came AFTER he obeyed and prayed for his friends. I have a hard time doing this esp for people who have hurt & taken advantage of my family.
*Everything he owned in Job 1:3 were doubled in 42:12, the sheep, camels, etc, except the children. Two commentaries I read say it is because the 10 original children are alive in heaven. So this book gives us a foreshadowing of our eternal life. I say awesome!
Lastly, may we like Job not only hear about God but see Him as well.

I was out of town this weekend, spent with a group of wonderful women that I minister with at women's retreats. I was able to keep up with my reading though :)
The comment that blessed me the most was this "So the Lord blessed Job in the second half of this life even more than in the beginning." 42:12
I turned 52 in October and I can truly say that my life since 50 has been incredible!! I admire those women who have gone back to school later in life. I, too, am contemplating that - just didn't want to graduate and retire at the same time :)

Michele, I wanted to commentin my first go round that the verse ,"Draw near to me and I will draw near to you", James 4:8, was my and my moma's verse that got her through a most difficult time when she became so ill in Aug., 2008. I also sent that very verse late last night to a friend who has a 17 yr. old son in Baptist Hospital with lung cancer. So, when I read your message, it gave me goose bumps; God is so unique in how He gives the same verse to different people for different reasons at the same time.
ONE MORE THING--- I cannot believe that we have read two books of the Bible in 31 days; that fact is amazing to me. Before I typed my first comment, I wrote a prayer to the Lord thanking Him for several things that He has done for me during this study. One thing I thanked Him for was the younger GIG's who are doing this study, whose time is so filled with responsibilites of children and many tasks of family life,etc. Yet, I am so proud of you and amazed that you even go through the "struggle" of finding the time to be alone with Jesus for even just a few minutes. Then I asked Him to forgive me that I DID NOT even "struggle" when I was younger as you are; I just went on with daily life, thanking Him and thinking He would understand; I was too busy with church "stuff" and not busy with developing a personal relationship with Him. So, I truly Praise God for your commitment!!!

I so enjoy reading everyone's thoughts. My laptop crashed then our desktop dinosaur up and died all within 10 days of each other. I haven't had time at work to add my thoughts, but I have been reading! I finally scooted my husband off his office laptop this evening so that I could participate. I may be a little behind in my comments but here goes.
I loved how Elihu was respectful but had boldness to speak to his elders. God didn't get mad at him like he did with Job's three friends. In fact I was quite amazed that God took right up where Elihu left off - pointing out only mysteries God could know. It was as if God said "Good Job Elihu but I'll take it from here."
A new thing:I wonder if the traditional Jewish teacher/student relationship started with God and Job? I'm in another biblestudy where I just learned that a rabbi would ask a prospective student a question to qualify whether that student had what it took to become one of his followers. The student would answer the rabbi with a question to show the rabbi he was submitted to him. God asks Job a question, "Where were you when..." and Job answered "Who am I...". An example of this rabbi/student relationship is John 1:38 where Jesus asks the 2 disciples "What do you seek?" and they answer him with the question "Where are you staying?" implying they would follow him, recognizing him as their teacher/Messiah. This may seem out in left field compared to what the line of comments has been but so often bits of other things I learn pop up in a seemingly unrelated way and the Spirit gives me a little "Aha Moment". Do you have these experiences?
One other thing,I too was surprised at God's sarcasm but coming from Him, maybe because he has the authority to say those truths, it is not spiteful or hurtful as it would be if I would be sarcastic.
Pray for me Weds. I'm having more surgery. A follow-up from a six hour surgery in Sept. This will be out-patient, tomorrow morning is pre-op. Thank you! Cindy

Oh, GIG's, How many wonderful thoughts!
I have been reading every day, and to my sons and husband, too. I have to say to Cindy, "John 1:38" is exactly where our bible study was from this morning for my Sunday school class. "What do you seek?" is such a loaded question--"Salvation, peace, and love" would be some answers we could relate to I am sure.
And for our Children's church ministry this morning, I spoke about how my family has been reading the Bible every evening together, and that the Lord gave Satan permission to test Job. (I hope the poster doesn't mind if I used some of her thoughts/I don't recall her name, but they were in my notebook) I also spoke about how the snow is a wonder/miracle of God, just like the rain, and wind, and the food we eat. I had not had time this week to prepare for my lesson, but all along we have been reading and the Lord has been preparing me.
Thank you all for your insights, and prayers. My husband is still not saved, but each day more prayers are said and God still does miracles and miraculous things that we don't know about.
Sorry for my long post, I have been absent this week due to long work hours, and hope this coming week will provide more time and insight into the passages.
