To What or Whom Am I Devoted?
"However, anything specially set apart for the LORD-whether a person, an animal, or family property-must never be sold or bought back. Anything devoted in this way has been set apart as holy, and it belongs to the Lord."
Leviticus 27:28

My Take Aways

Something Old:
I belong to the Lord-holy, set apart and can't be sold or bought back. The price as been paid in full.

Something New:
Numbers 1:52
"Each tribe of Israel will camp in a designated area with its own family banner."
The Lord is our banner-Jehovah Nissi. We are His family. He is our banner.

Something to Do:
Examine who and/or what I am devoted to.

Thank you for your prayers, Wendy. Like Susanx said, they mean a lot!

Kristin fr Wisconsin - Welcome! I saw your late post from Thursday's reading. I grew up the same way and I know exactly what you mean. Things never clicked for me until I realized God's grace.

To what am I devoted? For now it's easy to answer that I am devoted to my study of the Word. I say easy because I'm in this study and also enrolled in a KI class plus my regular bible study. When the KI class is done sometime in July, it will be interesting to see how I spend my time again. It is hectic but somehow I find the time to listen to the lectures, do the Discussion Questions and take the quiz every week. It is such a great time compared to what I was doing last year which was going crazy with my son's college applications. What a difference a year makes!

Well, DH and I are off tomorrow to see said son during Parents' Weekend. Our younger son is safely at my Dad's house. It will be our first time going away together by ourselves in ...19 years! We'll see how it goes. It looks like he is taking his laptop with him for work though. I might just take mine along for our fellowship.

I like how Jon Courson closed out Leviticus: "The Book of Leviticus ends with a teaching on tithing as if to say that holiness is proved by how one responds and reacts to that which costs him something. We can talk about holiness, sing songs about holiness, even pray about holiness - but holiness becomes real in our lives to the extent that we give the Lord His due, no matter the cost. And, as New Testament believers, His due is our all..." (p. 449)

Have a blessed Friday everyone. Gotta wake up early to catch that flight!

Kristen, WELCOME! Like you and Grace and Peace, I grew up Catholic, and while I am grateful I had some religious upbringing, it was pretty weak and VERY easily uprooted - in fact there have been a number of periods in my 53 years that I was "in exile". But each day of this study I feel more firmly rooted! I pray this feeling will just grow and grow all the rest of my days.

As a Catholic, praying was something you did almost as punishment following confession (go say three Hail Mary's and Three Our Father's), or something you did mindlessly (the Rosary). Now, I feel like praying is something I am privileged to do, and more and more it is becoming an ongoing discussion with the Lord during my day - and sometimes night.

So, now to follow up on Wendy's theme for today - it was wonderful, as usual, Wendy! Bless you! I would say I am devoted to this study, and to filling my mind and heart with Jesus and acting as the Bible says I should. I am doing well with my mantra, "Be Gentle", as Jesus was, and it is showing in the calmer way I am handling things both at school with my difficult students, and at home when difficulties arise.

Thank you all for your fellowship, and a great big welcome to our new members this week. Grace and Peace, have a wonderful weekend away with your husband, but do bring your laptop along, ha ha ha!!

Happy Friday, and Peace

Happy Friday! Wow, Day 57! Wendy, thank you very much for your prayers. You opened up some verses wide again for us today to think more on! Ones that I did not even high-light! I'm in a period of my life right now, that daily I have to pray, "Lord, don't let me lose my zeal. I love you so very much, and the more I know you the more deeper I want to know you!" I never want to lose out on this feeling. He is so EVERYTHING to me right now. The things that once were my focus don't seem to hold my interest like they once did. It's God.

Welll, Today, we say, "Good-bye to Leviticus, and hello, to Numbers!"
My Old: I have in my margin from last year that over 85 times in this Book, it says "the LORD spoke to Moses in the Tabernacle" Aaahh, the LORD speaking to His children. He is getting ready to take His special people, the Israelites to His promised Land. God Himself is leading them!

My Old & New: Today the first census takes place with the Israelites. This is what hit me like a bat over my head! The LORD spoke to Moses...List all the men..." So God is giving Moses the directions and telling him exactly how to do this Census...and what does Moses do? "on that very day."
!!!!! God spoke. Moses did. He did not procrastinate. He obeyed. That was new to me today. The other part that I could just not get out of my mind was towards the end in verse 52, "Each tribe of Israel will camp in a designated area with its own family banner." This is so special to me. God placed all the families close together! Today, families are so separated and divided and don't even speak sometimes. I don't know why but this just stuck out to me. God put each family together under its very own special banner to show that they belonged together!

To Do: "So the Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses" (54). We are not here by chance. God chose each one of us to belong to His special people. Oh, how I too want to do everything, just as the LORD commands me.

What a wonderful week in the Word it has been! Thank you so much ALL! Hugs, Lori

What am I devoted to? Right now it is learning God's Word and knowing more about how His perfect hand is on everything.

Old: God is a God of order. He had the Isreali troops registered. How long did that take to list over 600,000 men?

New: Lev 27:29 (No person specially set apart for destruction may be bought back. Such a person must be put to death.)
confuses me and I tried looking it up and I didn't find anything I could understand about it. What does it mean? Anyone? Anyone?

To Do: Like Olivia Newton John sang in Grease: Hopelessly Devoted to You....may my "you" be the Lord.

Happy Friday!
Morgen

Hi Morgen,
I checked in my NIV Study Bible and this is what it says:
"No person devoted to destruction my be ransomed; he must be put to death." notes: Saul sinned in this regard when he did not totally destroy the Amalekites, in I Sam. 15.

KJV says it this way:
"None devoted, which shall be devoted of men,
shall be redeemed;
but shall surely be put to death."

Hope this helps...You've got me humming that "Hopelessly devoted to you" song! :) Lori

Have not listened to the vlog or read my scripture yet. Had to go the doctor early this morning for a recheck on my knee replacement. But already reading the comments and in answer to what I am devoted to? Like everyone this study of God's Word. I have always hated reading Leviticus- many times just skipped right over but not this time. I have read it word for word!! Wendy this study is awesome! I am doing this Bible study, another Bible study at church and in training to teach another Bible study about Revelation. I am so into God's Word and loving every minute of it. Morgen, loved you comment - Oh that everyone would be Hopelessly devoted to Him!! The problem for me is that because I am in the Word so much I want my husband and children who are young adults and live at home to do the same - so am I being judgmental? I do not want to be - I am so happy being in the Word and the nuggets each of us have discovered. Grace and Peace hope you have a great week-end with your husband. Thanks for all you do for this group Wendy - the journey just gets better every week! Have a great week-end GIGs!

Good Morning Everyone from Sunny TN! Oh, the sun is a glorious sight today :) I, like you all, am devoted to the study of God's Word, to Him and to walking in His will. I think if we were not we would not be coming back here day after day soaking up Wendy's teaching, soaking up each other's comments and the nuggets and that God's places on everyone's hearts. Grace and Peace, I love what you wrote about holiness becoming real in our lives to the extent that we are devoted to Him, no matter the cost. Amen! I am going to have to get that commentary someday, you are teaching us so much from that. You have a great weekend with your hubby too! Since having Will we have not ever left him to get away by ourselves. That sounds just wonderful :)

You all have a fabulous weekend! I will be posting on my prayer blog again tomorrow with Open Prayers Weekend and plan on getting it back up and going daily next week. Let's keep praying for our loved ones, they WILL be saved! Wendy, thank you for your continued prayers for all of us. God is doing amazing things among us!

Blessings this Friday to all!

Familiar but new to me today:
"record the names of all the warriors"
"you and Aaron must register the troops"
"so Moses recorded their names in the wilderness of Sinai" Num 1:2,3,19
*assembly, preparation,obedience, growth

New to me today:"Each trible of Israel will camp in a designated area wiwth its own family banner" Num 1:52
*precision, provision

To Do: "set apart as holy" Lev 27:28, 30
*privileged

We are holy only because he is holy. We serve a perfect God who redeems our imperfection. His AMAZING plan continues to unfold - his troops to multiply. We are but a speck in all of this, and so blessed to be camping with him...royal daughters under his heavenly banner.

I am humbled today in reading all of your responses in realizing how neatly God is lacing up our hearts and souls and minds together. We are, as individuals and and as a group, being transformed. I find that so powerful, yet so peaceful.

I am just incredibly grateful for all of you - your devotion touches my life every day.

Joining in the humming of Hopelessly Devoted,

I too was raised Catholic. I thank God for the that experience! It has been my foundation on which I have grown as a Christian. I would not be who I am in God if not for that foundation. Does the Catholic Church have problems? Oh yes. However I have yet to find a Church in all my 55 years that is perfect & without problems. Not one 'religion' has all the truth. Religion is run by people. Faith is from God. A sweet & blessed nun once told me to take all 'religions' think of them as a room. Each corner(religion)has bits of truth to be receive from them. She said ALWAYS read the Word to make sure these 'truths' are base on scripture. She said bring them before the Lord, take the good & reject the bad. I thank God for her!
Wendy asked what am I devoted to? My children. I am realizing maybe too much. Could they be my idol? I need to pray about this. My nugget; My devotion time should be based on, did I give my 1st to the Lord? Did I spend time with Him? Am I giving my all to the one who gave me forgiveness & salvation? I am learning to do this more & more each day. Wendy thank you for opening my eyes to see a new corner with truths that are based on Scripture. Thank you Ladies for all your insights. The Holy Spirit is truly among us! Praise & Glory to You Lord!
Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello All,
This is Paola from NYC - currently snowed in but thankful for internet!!
Thank you WEndy for your encouragement as I stated yesterday I feel that the comment section and the vlog keeps me accountable to keeping up with the readings.
What am I devoted to? I am devoted to the Lord and having Him draw me closer to Him. What makes it easier is this vlog , I enjoy viewing you Wendy and reading everyones comments. It helps me not to just read thru the Bible but to actually process the info and apply it to my spiritual journey.
I can't say it is easy to be fully devoted to the Lord because I admit to at time "clinging" to tother things that distract me from Him.
For example, as I start my day I dash to get things done and throughout the day I am concerned with getting work done and then tending to my family (dinner, cleaning, getting my daughters ready for bed) by the end of the day I start watching the Olympics and before you know it...its almost midnight and I have not done my reading. So today here in NYC we got hit with a storm and my routine is different. I thank God for keeping me focused b/c I decided to give Him my best FIRST and start my devotion, reading and journaling first in the day even before my morning Coffee! Hallelujah for a God who hears our prayers and needs and when we have a willing and obedient heart, He makes a way for us and It is our decision to follow it. I decided to read first and take this first time of the day to meditate and read His Word.
Thank you Wendy I am so Thankful for you and your teachings.
Have a great weekend, I will be snowed in since our shovel broke from the last storm and shovels are all sold out. I will go search for a garden shovel.... :)
or maybe catch up with some paperwork and reading instead of venturing out there!

Hi all-

Amy fr WI here. I have to say, I was a bit hesitant to comment after reading the other ones.....
I guess I feel so much less "spiritual" than the rest. (I'm NOT saying this for sympathy!) I guess I feel this way because I was going to write that while I am devoted to reading my bible each day, I also feel devoted to other things.....yes, I say devote to because I kinda "pursue" them. Here's an example: I really, really enjoy exercising. I'm an active person and I feel "weird" if I don't work out most days. Yes, I stay balanced but this has gotten me thinking. Do I feel "weird" if I miss a bible reading? The answer, truthfully, USED to be "not really", but currently, since starting this daily reading, the answer is "Yes!".

My concern is this: while there of course things in everyones' lives that they enjoy, how does it rank in comparison to my relationship, my DEVOTION to Jesus? Some days are better than others and I feel like I'm growing closer to Him.

So I struggle, sometimes daily, with this. I struggle with my attitude-matching it with Christ's and I also struggle with NOT giving in to my flesh. I'm admitting some of my weaknesses (there are more!) :) because God's strength is shown in weakness so I'm praying He will use that for His glory.

Blessings!
-Amy

Hi Wendy and Everybody,

Praise the Lord!! Thanks Wendy.

Welcome Karen-Wisconsin I did leave a comment for you on yesterdays blog....and the gal whom I was talking about you can read her article on line if you wish. It touched me...and I will let her article speak to you for some understanding. Here is the web-site for it. Go to google type in FAITH Saginaw/Winter2010/www.FaithSaginaw.com It is a magazine there are alot of interesting articles in it from the Euharist on pg.10-11 to Why I came back (Mike Eichhorn's journey)pg.16-19 and also (Celeste story of returning)pg 20-21.

I am trying my best today. We are having another snow day. my children are home. So "First Fruits"...I am going to try to be brief. What am I devoted to? What so many of us are trying to do. I looked up the word Catechist.

CATECHIST. In general, one who teaches the essentials of Christian faith and morals. The term also has the technical meaning of one who gives instruction in Catholic doctrine, especially in mission lands or among people who are not baptized or who are dechristianized. As one of the supernatural charisms of knowledge, it is the special gift of being able to teach the faith with extraordinary effectiveness.

I was one...for the 3rd graders in our parish...Michelle in New England so sorry your roots were so VERY easily uprooted. I would highly recommend for all of us to read their stories.

My nuggets today is for all of us to be His followers...Wendy you are so right. He is calling each one of us.

Let Keep Catechist Alive...

Brandee send me some sunshine up my way.

Have a Blessed weekend everybody.

I have only posted occasionaly. I am happy to say that I am starting to feel stronger in my ability to truly "read" the Word. I, like many others, was raised a Catholic and as much as I appreciated being raised in faith, I know that I never participated in my faith. I always allowed others to "spoonfeed" me. For the first time in my life I'm devoted to reading, learning and understanding the Bible as God's Word.

My thanks to Wendy and each and everyone of you who has helped me to "thirst" for God's Word.

What am I devoted to? Honestly, I can say God's Word. It is very important to me to not just read it, but study it out like we all have been doing here. It's one thing to read it just for the sake of saying you read it, and another thing to really dig and study and know what God is talking about. Trust me I know. At one time, I was devoted to read the WOrd just so I could tell myself my duty was done. But my desire is no longer the same. My desire is to fully understand what God has for me. My love for His Word and truths have changed.

I'm also devoted to the computer. Without it I could not do this study and certain communications with others would be limited. There are times, however, that I have to say to myself "Jules you're grounded from the computer (for however long)" b/c I feel like I put too much time in games or facebook or whatever. It helps bring my focus back where it should be when I take these breaks from it.

Enjoyed reading everyone's comments and listening to Wendy's commentary on today's reading. Verse 54 of #s 1, stood out to me today; "So the Isrealites did everything just as the Lord had commanded of Moses." My question to myself: "Do I do just as the Lord commands me?"

Blogger Unknown said...

I have been so touched by every ones comments and as always touched by seeing Wendy's heart! So, I feel the need to share, WARNING: the following is a result of a tired, stressed out, hormonal Mommy of 4 ! Sorry if I get off topic.

I know that my heart and mind are devoted to Christ. But I also know that there is a battle going on and I struggle with having the world see that my heart is devoted to God. Meaning, when life is going on crazy all around me it is hard for others to see where my devotion truly lies. I let the world in and some times the way I react is ugly. My patience wears thin. I want my actions in the everyday, to reflect my hopelessly devoted heart :) Thanks Morgen!

I really believe our faith is strongest when we have our lives in BALANCE. I would love to shut the world away and retreat to the quiet places with my God and never face the trials this world throws at me. But, by His grace I find balance and the strength He allows for me to travel this journey. Some times He carries me and other times He is close by, letting me find new ways to see His love and grace.

Grace and Peace- Funny you should mention college applications,my son and I are wading through that same paper work! I see you made it through,so it gives me hope! Have a safe trip!

PS.Awhile ago, some one posted a comment about the book "Hind's Feet on HIgh Places" I have searched for this comment and can not find who gets the credit, But Thank You for it! I had heard of this book years ago and am certain it would have made absolutely no sense to me at that time! By your comment and God's perfect timing, I am reading this book and knowing God is speaking to me through it. I love it! What a help it has been!

Thank you all for listening :)

Okay...had to bop back on during my lunch break to comment. Thank you Lori for helping me get that verse. The Saul comment really helped.
To Amy: Exercise is super important to me too..and I also feel "off" if I have missed more than 1 day of it. The Holy Spirit will let you know whether or not you've made exercise a god. I feel thankful that I enjoy it so much...so many people struggle to be consistent with their exercise. Thank You Jesus for my exercise motivation!
Tina: God bless you, you weary momma. Know it gets better. I only have 1 of my 3 babies left at home now and oh how the time has opened up for me to study God's Word. I commend you for getting it done with your busy life right now. My spiritual time was VERY limited when my kids were younger and all home. There is a time and a season for everything.
I was raised Methodist and then joined the Lutheran church after marriage. I experienced Baptist bible camp and youth group with friends in High School. I've been all over the place. I can't say one is better or worse than another; religion is man-made. Believing in Jesus is God-made. If You are His, He will capture you where ever you are.

Praying for our unsaved spouses! Let's shout it to the heavens!

My husband and I also grew up as catholics. I attended catholic school for six years. I remember learning alot about sins, and what not to do, but never knew that God wanted a relationship with us, or that God's word is living and active and powerful, and that we should read the Bible. It pays to go searching for the truth...thank God for His word.

Okay, late in Basel... It's 9:10 Friday night. Morgen, here is what Matthew Henry says about verse 29:

Devoted persons were to be put to death, v. 29. Not that it was in the power of any parent or master thus to devote a child or a servant to death; but it must be meant of the public enemies of Israel, who, either by the appointment of God or by the sentence of the congregation, were devoted, as the seven nations with which they must make no league. The city of Jericho in particular was thus devoted, Jos. 6:17. The inhabitants of Jabesh-Gilead were put to death for violating the curse pronounced upon those who came not up to Mizpeh, Jdg. 21:9, 10. Some think it was for want of being rightly informed of the true intent and meaning of this law that Jephtha sacrificed his daughter as one devoted, who might not be redeemed.

It is really what Lori said.

Lori, thank you for such an upbeat post! You are such a light and such a breath of fresh air! You always make me smile!

Wendy, thank you for your prayers. I too pray for you daily.

Mothers all, hang in there. This is hard stuff and easy to let the distractions of the world take first place (sometimes that is easier). But yesterday and today I had running through my head Matthew 11:28-30 (NAS):

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

I just wanted to pop back on here and say you guys are just awesome and I love how open everyone is in their struggles of daily living. I think when we are devoted to God, we naturally are devoted to other things as well. ie the exercise, God wants us to take care of our temples and it is something I have really gotten back into the past 6 months. My husband is very dedicated to his work out schedule and I have to brag on him, you can tell :) He has started going to the gym and I can really tell how good he is looking! He inspires me to keep at it and stay attractive to him. Also our families, when we are devoted to God we are going to be devoted to our husbands and our kids. Oh how I would LOVE to sit and spend hours in Bible study, reading all the commentaries, but at this stage in my life that is not possible. I do what I know God wants me to do, I pray, I do study and I am making time to lead our prayer blog, but there is a point I have to make myself get up from my kitchen table and do the laundry, iron, clean the house, do my FIRM tape. Tina, you are so right, it is balance! Plus, what is right balance for me might not be balance for you. We are all unique, have our own unique relationships with God and that is what is so cool about Him, He knows our uniqueness and what each of us needs.

Enjoying your thoughts very much today :)

First of all, amy, I'm with you on struggling with whether I idolize my workouts. My financial situation recently changed and I had to put my gym membership on hold, which was a big thing for me to give up. But God is working in me in that, transforming how I view it, and blessing me with a Christian running buddy and spiritual mentor. I guess that's not really advice as it is an "i'm with ya sister".

Wendy, thank you for delving into devotion. My first thought was that I am devoted to me. A lot of times I think about myself, my schedule, my wants. I have been making an active effort to put God in place of "my". I apprecate the reinforcement and accountability. And that my sisters here, helped me see that I AM devoted to learning his word and becoming a woman of his Family.

My old/new: I knew He set the Levites apart for Himself, but I found it interesting that they were not included in the census of "war-ready" men. He wanted them specifically focused on the task of upkeeping the Tabernacle, to buffer the people from his wrath and protect his holy home. The Isrealites would take care of the rest. I feel like he has specialized callings for each one of us and I can't wait to let him lead me to my true one!

My Nugget: He loves our gifts! "Any gift to the Lord will be considered holy". Different from sacrifices and offerings, our gifts don't have to measure up or be perfect. We can love him any way we feel led to do so and he not only loves that, but considers it HOLY! Sweet!

Liz - I liked your analogy of us being sons and daughters under his heavenly banner. That makes me stand a little taller today.

Have a great Friday, Ladies! I have the pleasure of seeing John Piper speak tonight - super stoked!!

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am so refreshed after reading all of your comments. This is a very real group. The balancing act in life is tough and right now I'm praying praying praying to hand a lot over to God. I'm working on it.

I am devoted to family and friends. I am devoted to living a meaningful life and being thankful for everyday I'm alive. In 2010 I am devoted to growing my relationship with the Lord and continuing to read through the word. I also want to be devoted to spending more time with God and work on being quiet and listening to him.
Day 57! Yeah! I am so excited to be on this learning journey. A lot of my early twenties I spent feeling guilty. I didn't feel like I fit in at church or the non-denominational groups on the college campus(now I'm realizing I wasn't listening to God). I always felt bad that I wasn't doing this or that.
I had an epiphany when I heard Sanctus Real's new song, "Forgiven" I have the opportunity to start fresh with the Lord by accepting him as my savior. "I don't have to carry the weight of who I've been because I'm forgiven" "I'm a treasure in the arms of Christ" WOW!
Wendy, thank you so much for your suppport. I love the vlogs! I look forward to watching them everyday.
Sorry about the long posts...I'm so excited and God is showing me so many things that I can hardly contain myself.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Greetings everyone...have been away from my computer for 12 days...was with my 99 yr old mom in AZ.

Vernon McGee has quite a bit to say about Numbers. He said that Numbers in Hebrew is Arehmoi... which means Arithmetic...makes sense, doesn't it.

He said that everything in the Bible is written for our learning....even if it is uninteresting. Rom. 15:4 "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction..."
He said that ancestry was important in the Bible. One reason was to preserve the genealogy of Christ. In Genesis we saw where the oldest was rejected...Esau, and then the line that showed the line that would lead to Christ...Jacob... was followed. It was also necessary to determine who was eligible for priesthood. Nehemiah 7:64 says that "These sought their registration among those recorded in the genealogies, but it was not found, so they were excluded from the priesthood as ceremonially unclean.:"

Then our genealogy is important. Are we a child of God? Gal. 3:29 says that "If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's offspring and spiritual heirs according to promise." And Rom. 8:16-17 says, "The Spirit Himself testifies together with our own spirit, assuring us that we are children of God. And if we are His Children, then we are His heirs also; heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ..."

I'm so glad my genealogy shows that I am a child of the King.

Hi everyone -

I want to thank all of you for the insights you have provided me these last 57 days. It has been such a blessing to me.

Wendy - I asked God for help in studying/reading the Word and he sent you. You are amazing!!!!

I just skimmed the comments and wanted to add my part.

I was raised Catholic as well. Someone mentioned that there is (was) no teaching on a relationship with Jesus and I remember it that way as well. Was very ritualistic from what I recall.

Amy and others on the exercise -- I am with you all the way. esp your comment amy about how I feel missing a workout compared to how I feel missing a reading..... I have been thinking about that myself lately. If I only had time to do one, which would it be.....

I am devoted now to trying to learn more of Jesus and who He is to me as well as who I am to Him. All of you are helping me tremendously. I find that what I highlight tends to be what Wendy highlights. I know that it is important, but not always sure how I can apply. Wendy is there to help me do just that.

Prayers and love for all of you.

What am I devoted to? Searching the Scriptures by finally reading the Bible word for word. I am a speed reader--a skimmer--always have been until 57 days ago!I am finally seeing the details that God has placed in His Word! I am loving this!

Jane in SC--I am getting ready for the AGL revival and the study as well!! I too am doing another study through church in addition to this one. It's Disciples and is fabulous. Y'all, it ties right in with what we're doing here. Like this one, I am taking my time and making notes to pull it all together. Thanks to you all for your wonderful insight. Wendy, thank you sweet friend!

Hugs!
Susan

JUst listened to the vlog for yesterday. Have been under the weather and did my reading but just couldn't stop coughing long enough to listen. Wendy this day was awesome! It was day day 57, the end of Leviticus and you pulled it all together for us to end on HIGH! Whoa! I am so wound up for the day. Susan isn't it amazing how the Bible studies that God puts before us all connect even though it might be studies of different things. He is so awesome and know just what we need to learn and when. Wendy thank you for loving us enough to take your time and study and do this vlog every day and thank you for praying for each of us.

I am devoted to being the 'older' (sigh...) woman who teaches and instructs the younger women. God is leading me and I want to obey. Thanks for the encouragement!
