I am Back - Updates

It has been so long since my last post. I almost forgot how to log on. I wanted to give some updates on life.

First, I was corrected by Smart College Graduate: In my last post, I left out a "g" in Tigger.

Second, many of you have been praying for my husband. He was diagnosed with RA several months ago. He has also been dealing with any eye infection called Scleritis. This infection could have taken away his sight. He was on high doses of Prednisone as well as another medications. I wanted to share that after much prayer his eye infection is finally stabilized. In addition, he is completely off Prednisone. Praise God! This has been one of the biggest trials of our 16 year marriage. Thank you to all who have fervently prayed for him and our family. God is most definitely the God who sustains. We made it through because of His faithfulness!

Third, our vacation was AWESOME! It was so much better than I expected. Disney World, heat, and a very active 8 year boy could make for a wild combination. But all went well. No one got lost and I even rode every roller coaster in the park. Can you believe it? I can't. But when your child wants to ride and needs a riding partner, you really don't have the option of saying no.

At the end of a hot day at Animal Kingdom, we decide to cool down on Kali River Rapids. Choosing your seat is a gamble. Depending on where you sit, you could get soaked. My daughter and I gambled and lost. Needless to say, we were not longer hot. My daughter had the bright idea of jumping in the pool wearing clothes. So guess what we did?

It was by far the best vacation our family has ever had. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. It was good to go but great to come home.
