It appears Feedburner is fixed. My solution was the right one. I have been praising the Lord all day!
What are ya'll doing this weekend? I hope to do not much of anything. The normal washing and cleaning a bit and perhaps write devotion. (The deadline was yesterday.) I hate to be late. Sounds like the Mad Hatter, huh?

For me I cleaned house last night so today I will wash clothes, clean out my son's room (he moved out) so my other son can move in his room. This will take me all day. My husband will be painting the outside of the house. Then this afternoon I will do my 92 year old mother's hair and color it for her, then this evening we will be going to my mother-in-law's for supper. But first I am spending time in the Word. I love this part of my day! Hope everyone has a wonderful cool week-end. Fall is here!!

Today's reading, Luke 11:28, Jesus replied, "But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice." Lord, let me be that person!
This weekend's major chore is painting the front porch with my Wonderful Husband. Instead of focusing on how I don't like outdoor work, I'll be praising God for giving me a body that can bend, hunch over, and being able to move through this job that needs to get done!

The question in todays reading that jumped out to me was "Why do you have so little faith?" So I will be pondering that this weekend.
I have a pile of laundry to fold and put away. Make lunch for the harvesters (Praise the Lord for the great harvest and weather to harvest it!) and hang out with my hubby trying to help with the harvest wherever I can.

Still catching up here. Just a quick comment to a question I don't think was answered. If so, forgive the duplication.
What was Jesus writing in the dirt after he said let him who has not sinned cast the first stone? Jon Courson thinks it was a list of sins. Makes sense to me. After those gathered saw a list of their sins, no one had the nerve to claim themselves sinless and disappeared quietly.
Help me, Oh Lord, to judge not that I be not judged. Forgive me for being critical of anyones actions. Amen
Florida is soooo beautiful at this time of year even without the leaves changing. Help me to keep blooming where I have been planted.

I find it miraculous that each time a problem arises within my life or the lives of those whom I love, that God ALWAYS speaks through His Word concerning solutions to to the problem(s). I was talking with my sister-in-law whose husband was in a car accident (he was hit from behind at a stop sign by a semi) this morning. He is no longer able to work, and she has medical problems as well. Their bills are piling up, and they are fearful. I know that God will make a way for them, but I would so like to be able to help them financially. Unfortunately, I had to retire from teaching early due to a chronic illness. God has taken away my fears for the future, but when I see others whom I love in financial crisis, I immediately look for ways in which "I" can solve their problem. It is in praying, asking, and knowing that it is God who will not let those who belong to Him go without having their physical needs met that provides the assurance we need to keep Satan from filling us with fear and doubt. After praying this morning, I was so comforted when I read today's scripture. Do you ever think that God hits you on the head with a divine, "What must I do to get this through that thick skull of yours?"I came away from my "quiet place" this morning with a sense of security and peace knowing God is God and He will never leave His lambs without shelter, food, and the security of His presence. For some reason, I expected to have a big bump on my topknot. :) Blessings to you all... Isn't God good?!!!

I hav nothing planned for today. I didn't get up until after 1 p.m. this afternoon. I did fall asleep before midnight last night, ptl, but kept waking up and I had a terrible headache all night. That's one reason i didn't get up this morning. Tomorrow it will be church.
Karen, ever since you talked about The Lord’s Prayer, it has been on my mind. If this was a prayer that Jesus prayed, I think I should be praying it also! I’ve been taking a close look and studying it in detail. In today’s reading it talks about “seek the Kingdom of God above all else” (Luke 12:31). Today, I’ve looked closely at:
“THY KINGDOM COME”
When Jesus said to Pray: Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, He expects us to pray that others will be receive Him as Savior and Lord.
• His kingdom will continue to spread through all of the world (Mark 16:15).
• Since we are self-centered, our prayer requests are often for self – but, if our prayers are to be effective, the desires of God must occupy the central place in our lives.
• This is why God created us
• This is our purpose for living
• For we are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s (I Cor 6:20).
• If we sincerely pray: “Thy Kingdom come”… *we should be greatly concerned that people in every nation of the world have God’s Word/know Him *As Christians, we have a responsibility to pray and to help evangelize the world. *HOW? –one way, is to pray!
• We are a chosen people – We’ve been chosen as a key person to pray: “Thy Kingdom come’ –this should become our greatest desire above all earthly needs – and as we pray: “Thy Kingdom come,” we are anticipating a literal kingdom with Christ ruling earth just as He does in heaven. – it is a privilege of fulfilling Christ’s command to be “witness for Him…to the uttermost part of the earth” Acts 1:8.

Now, as I read this, my mind was lead to the miners (again!) – what I read this morning in the newspaper from one man who spoke to the Washington Post said, “I had never prayed before,” …The men were given special tasks. He spoke of an older man more experienced and hard-bitten man such as Jose Henriquez, 56, {I would not call 56, ‘old’ ha-ha} a miner who is also an evangelical pastor.” Holy Goose bumps!
So, I know I keep repeating myself here, but ladies, I’m still hopeful, that one miner will preach the gospel to the world!

Cindy, I love your attitude of praise that you have the good health to do chores you don't like! (smile)
I reported earlier this week that our reading inspired me to pray big, bold prayers regarding something with my husband, and the Lord answered in a big way in just a few days. Our gracious Lord gave me the words to say, and gave my husband the ears to hear, and we now have resolution! Thank you, Lord.
I paid my Saturday visit to my sister Denise. The doctor's have determined that her overall health is too fragile to fight her bladder cancer with chemo or radiation, so further surgery as the tumor grows back is really the only answer. Praise the Lord, Denise is in okay shape emotionally right now. I thank you all for your prayers, dear sisters.
I'm looking forward to my FOURTH week at my new church tomorrow - how time flies - and after the service I will help unload a truckload of pumpkins from a Navajo reservation in New Mexico into the church's fund raising Pumpkin Patch!!

I need to remember that I shouldn't worry, God will take care of our needs, especially now when our only income is unemployment. We have been in this situation before and God has always made sure that we get the bills paid. My worries don't add a single moment to my life.
Today I went to a Project Linus "Make a Blanket Day" workshop. We made weighted blankets for autistic children served by our county board of developmental disabilities. I get such joy using the sewing talent God gave me to help others.

What a week! Our God is still alive and working on hearts, answering prayers. We had 27 children and youth come forward for salvation the last night of revival.
Our director of missions was our preacher. He told about how his wife struggled with ALS and her last days keeping the faith. Her testimony of faith in Jesus lives on and touches hearts.
It has only been a year. He has remarried to a former church member whose husband was a police chief, killed in the line of duty.
God is good, all the time.
Are we dressed for service with the Word of God and are our lamps burning with the Holy Spirit? (Luke 12:35)
We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the One who sent us. John 9:4
Laundry is done, but vacuuming isn't. However, I spent time with our granddaughter, her parents, and other grandparents. I finished 2 days of Bible lessons and walked
praising the Lord 1 1/4 miles.
Our leaves are beginning to turn here in the Ozark Mountains. That means a trip with the older ladies of our church to ooh and awe at them soon.
Please remember my daughter Stephanie on Wednesday and Thursday. She is speaking to a group of 100-200 medical people about the medicine she takes to keep her RA in remission (in Dallas). What an opportunity to witness for Christ. I'm so proud of her, mom of 4.

Did you ever imagine when you were say a teenager that you would be praising God for having your feedburner fixed?
I never thought myself of in addition to cleaning my house, I would be cleaning out my emails.
Praise God when this modern technology works and allows us to touch lives all over this world with His word. And thank you, Wendy.........
