Wendy, you have honored Luann beautifully. I pray that many lives are changed as a result of Luann's honesty. She is such an example of God's grace. And, I pray that many will come to Jesus as a result of your post. How smart of you to add the link to Do You Know Jesus! What a perfect way to celebrate Luann and all that God has done in and through her.
Love You,
LeAnn
Dear Wendy:
In "re-entry" mode from vacation and taking a few minutes to read a few of my favorite blogs.
I am SO glad to hear that your daddy was home and that all went well. God is so faithful and I loved reading how He reassured you.
Will continue to pray for you and your family as you are "in the trenches". You are loved perfectly by Him and deeply by your friends.
Hugs,
Sharon
Oh my dear wonderful friend Wendy! I was so surprised to see your comment on my blog. How thrilled I was! And no, I don't remember going to the 24-hour Eckerd's on Independence Blvd.and asked every employee, "What time do you close?" or the Happy Birthday America cake nor trying to sing alto to Whitney Houston's, I Wanna Dance With Somebody?" I'M OVER 40 AND HAVE TEENAGERS! I VAGUELY REMEMBER WAKING UP THIS MORNING! I'm kidding although, you have a memory like an elephant! Oh by the way, I'm wearing one of your mothers sweaters! Ha ha, Willene told me the story behind the bag of clothes. TOO FUNNY! I could not figure out why your mom would give me a bag full of her old clothes. Now I know it was Momma Jeans doings. I think I ended up taking that bag of clothes to Goodwill. Someone is wearing them - just not me :) Listen, please stay in touch, here is my email address mchildress@windstream.net. I'm going to add your blog as one of my favorites. I'm not great at blogging yet but keep checking in. I try to update once a week. You cross my mind more than you know - I love you!
Marie
Wendy, thanks for sharing this life-changing story with us. I went over there, watched the interview and left my comment. It brings tears of happiness to my eyes. As you know, I am walking in the path of obedience, and daily I have challenges. Her story brings peace to my heart. Thank you. Shoua
