Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"
even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.
I know that I am not ever to add or take away from the powerful and providential Word but I want to take the liberty to write:
If I go to the hospital operating room to visit my Daddy before surgery you are there. You even meet me as I walk in the door of the hospital with the smile and hug from a friend. You comfort me in the waiting room. You go before and come behind me. You hem me in.
I hit my knees in prayer this morning, as I prayed for Daddy I saw the light of the operating room and the doors open. The light was so bright I had to squint. I knew the Lord was assuring me of His preparation. He was letting me know that He was already there warming the room with His presence and preparing the staff with kindness and compassion. I continued to pray for my Daddy and others. I felt warm inside. Puzzled by the feeling I paused to determine the source of the warmth. I realized the warmth was coming from the prayers of my friends who were praying for me. As I said Amen I had confidence that all was well.
Thank you for allowing God to use you in my life and the life of my family today. Your prayers were felt, heard, and answered. Daddy's procedure was perfect. He is at home right now resting in his own bed. (The best place to recover, right?) The doctors will continue to monitor his counts to ensure the success of the procedure but are very pleased with the outcome.
What do people do without Jesus and "Jesus with skin?"(Friends in the Faith) I am so glad I don't ever have to find out.

So glad that your Daddy's prodecure went well! Woohoo! Isn't it awesome to experience the Lord as you did this morning? I just love when I see Him, hear Him, and experience Him each day! (That came from She Speaks, and I have prayed it daily ever since!!)
