The Recipe
I promised two days ago to post the recipe to the chocolate chip pound cake I contributed to our "girl's night out" at Van's house.

This is an easy and extremely delicious cake to make. I use all store brand products, even the chocolate chips. The recipe was given to me by my mother-in-law.

Betty's Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

1 bx yellow cake mix
1 sm chocolate instant pudding
1/2 sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup water
4 large eggs
1 8 oz. sour cream
6 oz chocolate chips

Mix the first three ingredients with a whisk. Add oil and next ingredients. Mix until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.

Oh, my this is so yummy. I can 't wait to hear how you like it.

Oooh, my daughter would love this. I'm going to print this out for her. I know I'll like it too, but just don't have time to bake anymore.

Hey, Wendy! Thanks so much for the recipe! My boys are chocoholics, so I know they'll love it!

I am borrowing your idea for the girls' night out as we end our 4 week Bible Study on the Proverbs 31Woman (which has been so blessed by God I want to do a happy dance!!!) We're going to do a potluck supper and watch "Steel Magnolias" also!! The girls were really excited about it!! Thanks for sharing.

Love ya!
Susan
